Editorial Policy

Last updated: June 8, 2026

Tech Daily Byte is a curated technology news platform. We track reporting from established publishers and add our own original editorial analysis. We always link to and credit the original source — we are not a substitute for it.

What We Do

Tech Daily Byte curates noteworthy stories from across the technology industry and publishes original editorial analysis around them: context, why a development matters, its implications, and what to watch next. Each story page is intended to be read for our analysis — not as a copy of the original article.

How We Select Sources

  • We follow a curated set of reputable technology publishers and developer communities (for example TechCrunch, The Verge, Wired, Ars Technica, MIT Technology Review, Dev.to, and others).
  • Stories are chosen for relevance to developers, engineers, designers, and technology professionals.
  • We do not knowingly include misinformation, sponsored placements disguised as news, or low-quality content farms.

How Our Analysis Is Written

Our editorial analysis is produced with the assistance of AI language models and reviewed against our editorial standards. Our standards require that the analysis:

  • adds original context and interpretation rather than reproducing or paraphrasing the source article;
  • is specific to the story at hand, not generic filler;
  • avoids speculation presented as fact; and
  • clearly attributes the underlying reporting to its original publisher.

We are transparent that AI is used in producing this analysis. The selection of stories, the editorial standards, and the published result remain our responsibility.

Attribution & Copyright

Every story credits its original publisher by name and links to the original article. Where we quote a brief excerpt from a source, it is short, clearly marked, and used for context under fair-use principles. We respect publishers' rights — if you are a publisher and would like your content handled differently, please contact us.

Corrections

If you spot an inaccuracy in our analysis, email editorial@techdailybyte.com or use our contact form. We review correction requests promptly and update or remove content where warranted.

Advertising & Independence

We may display advertising to support the site. Advertising never influences which stories we cover or the analysis we publish. Ads are clearly distinguishable from editorial content.
